Stressed? Punch it out with Qigong

This week in class, we worked on releasing tension from the body and calming the nervous system.
In this video, we are punching our stress out.
By making loose fists and touching our liver meridians this movement helps releasing stagnant Qi that often get stuck when we feel overwhelmed or frustrated.
From next week, we are starting working on the spring season, we are entering the Wood element and working with the Liver and Gallbladder energy.
The emotion link to this season is anger, but it is also a time of movement and expansion, when energy start to rise again.
In Qigong, slow and flowing movements help this energy move smoothly without creating tension in the body.
